The 7-Eleven app seems to work in both countries. You can download the app from their Canadian or American sites. There are exclusive deals on food and points earned for purchases.

You need to use the app for the country you are in at the time. They have decent deals on their app. Download the app in Canada for Android or iOS. In the USA  for Android or iOS.

Each country has a separate Dairy Queen app. The Canadian and American sites allow you to download the app for that country. Earn points when you purchase food. The points system is new and not all store are participating.

There are different apps for Denny’s Canada and Denny’s . Order through the app, earn points for eating, and on your birthday you can get a Grand Slam or some other delicious treat!

While Dominos uses separate apps and websites for each country, the deal is the same for both countries. Earn 10 points per order of $10 or more. Redeem 60 points to get 1 free medium 2-topping pizza. Each country has its own site. The sites are Dominos Canada and Dominos . Your points will expire in a year if you don’t make a purchase or redeem during the calendar year.

Earn rewards points when you dine at Mr. Mikes. For a birthday gift they give a $25 credit that can be used any time during the year.

Papa John’s has a rewards program and the app works in both countries. Sign up and get the app and earn rewards when you order their awesome pizza! Earn 1 point per $1 spent. Redeeming: 75 points = $10 toward any menu item.

Pizza Hut has separate apps for each country. You can download the app from either Pizza Hut Canada or Pizza Hut . Their rewards program is straight forward. Each order of at least $10.99 (limit 1 per day) gets you 1 point. 5 points = 1 free medium pizza!

Subway appears to use the same app in both countries. To make sure that you are looking at the appropriate deals, follow the links for their Canadian or American websites. Earn points when you purchase food. Get emails to find out about special offers.

Tim Horton’s has an app that works in both countries. Get rewarded when you purchase food at Canada’s favorite donut shop. The points can be redeemed for free food or drinks. You can read my post about getting the most out of the Tim Horton’s app.

Ok. While they don’t have a rewards program, they do tend to have the best price on gas. You do have to have to pay for a membership in order to get gas at Costco. The Costco membership is valid in both countries.

There are 2 rewards options: ESSO Extra & PC Optimum. When fueling up at the station you can only use one of the reward programs.

I love being able to see the gas prices in the area. This is especially helpful when planning places to gas up when on a trip. The app is available for Android and iOS. You can use the Gas Buddy app on either side of the border!

Chevron, On-The-Run, Pioneer, Fas Gas, and Ultramar all use JOURNIE Rewards. Follow the link and you can sign up as well as download the app onto your phone. You don’t need a physical card – just your phone number. Link your CIBC payment card to your JOURNIE account, and you will save 3 cents every time you enter your 6-digit code and pay for the gas with your CIBC card. When you get to 300 points, you automatically get a 7 cent per liter discount. Once you hit 300 points, you start over again working on getting to 300 points again. JOURNIE Rewards has teamed up with Aeroplan! When you link your Aeroplan account you will receive 300 Aeroplan points. If you don’t want to use the Aeroplan points for travel, you can redeem the 300 points for a 7 cent per liter fuel discount.

Collect points when you pump gas at PetroCan stations. Redeem for fuel discounts, free gas, car washes, and in-store items! Visit the PetroCan site to find out more. A physical rewards card is needed. Multiple cards can be linked to the same account, so spouses can work together to build their points faster. They will email you with special or bonus offers, so make sure you check your emails from Petro Points! There is also an awesome feature that allows you to pay right through the app.

Shell rewards their customers through the Air Miles program.

Earn miles that can be redeemed for airline tickets, hotel stays, or attraction tickets. Miles can be earned by signing up (25 Miles). Air Miles are also earned when purchases are made at participating businesses, including some credit cards. Visit the Air Miles site. Safeway was our favorite way to earn Air Miles. The bonus miles are the way to make them add up!

Bring a friend to the Costco membership counter and when they sign up for a membership you will each receive a $25 voucher or $50 voucher depending on the membership type they get. Click here for more details. Limit 2 new memberships. The program has an expiration date that they keep extending.

With Flipp you can view fliers for stores of your choice. The app is available in both Canada and the USA , so just click on the link for the country you are wanting to use the Flipp.

Link your spending cards to your account, and then when you spend at participating companies, you will get cash back. Refer a friend and you will each get $5! Follow this link and you will get $5 when you make your first purchase at one of Paymi’s partners.

PC Optimum is Canadian Superstore or Wholesale Club rewards program. The points are earned on select products that change every week. The redeemable value is $1 per 1,000 points, and they can be redeemed in increments of 10,000.

The Save-On Foods rewards program is one of our favorites! The app is available for Android and iOS devices. $1 equals 1 point plus any in-store deals and VIP deals. You can read post about about How to Maximize the Save-On More Rewards program.

The Scene+ Rewards program is a joint venture between ScotiaBank and Cineplex. Points can be earned at Freshco and Safeway stores. The points can be redeemed for free groceries (gift cards are exempt) or free movie tickets at Cineplex theaters.

Have you noticed that the price check stations are nowhere to be found in Walmart? With the My Walmart app ( Android or iOS)( Android or iOS), you can scan the bar code of any item in the store and get a price check! Each country has separate apps.

Expedia is a great site to get deals on travel! They offer excellent deals on hotels, flights, car rentals, things to do, and cruises. Not only do they offer great deals, they also have a rewards program. Earn rewards 2 points per $1 USD on hotels, cars, packages, things to do and cruises & 1 point per $5 USD on flights. Redeem 140 points = $1 USD toward a booking.

This app will watch airline ticket prices for you and let you know if they drop! You can also see flight prices on the calendar with the days listed by color showing the price range. The app is available for Android and iOS.
